Stone Coast communicates with inbound and outbound data sources to initiate, test, and support data exchanges – including feeds from your order management system, prime brokers, and counterparties.

Conversion Support

Conversions have their own requirements including communicating with and onboarding existing investors, building portfolios, and ingesting historical activity from legacy providers. Stone Coast utilizes time-tested request lists and secure data and document transmission methods to streamline the process.

We’ve answered some of the most common questions to help you understand what to expect and how we keep your transition on track.

We can launch funds exceptionally quickly. Funds can be launched in as little as 2-3 weeks. Ideally, notice of 4-6 weeks allows for a quick, but unrushed pace. Timing can be impacted by the lead-time required for external tasks, like opening bank accounts or finalizing fund documents.

No, it’s not. We work with your current service provider to obtain all necessary information. Our onboarding team efficiently loads your data into our accounting system and thoroughly reviews all existing investor records. We take enormous care to ensure that your investors understand the change and receive impeccable service.  

Yes, transitions at any time are completely manageable. We need an audited portfolio as our starting point, and if a conversion isn’t planned for year end, we’ll reprocess the previous administrator’s work for the current year.

One month is very standard. For more complex portfolios, two or three months might be more suitable.
